• Only paying attention when you’re in front of them
• Facing problems in following basic instructions
• Lost in the noise of traffic
• Late reacting to sudden, loud noises in the environment

Please understand that children won’t always report that they are struggling to hear what you are saying. Typically, they assume that their hearing is normal.

Yes, Pediatric audiologists offer a battery of tests to ascertain whether your newborn can hear or not. If your baby happens to have any hearing related problems after the hearing tests, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they have no hearing sense. Audiologists will then make sure further tests to identify the cause of the problem and may recommend treatment.
